AT&T today officially confirmed that they would be carrying the Nokia E71 on their network in the anatomy of the E71x. It’s legit; Skype is coming to the iPhone on Tuesday, BlackBerry devices in May. While we’ve seen plenty of Skype-capable apps on the iPhone, the poor, often echo-infected calls should be easily bested by the official Skype App that doesn’t need the additional audio transcoding workaround called for by the existing crop of unofficial apps. Another UK company transport company has announced it is to offer WiFi on its train services. Private charter company, Train Chartering, which organizes trains for hire across the UK rail system, says it will offer WiFi connections on all of its bookings.
